Director – Chief Financial Officer

After graduating from Newcastle University, Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Robson Rhodes. Following 13 years spent with Credit Suisse First Boston, Greenwich NatWest and RBS Financial Markets, working in London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, Simon joined Heartwood as a Director and Chief Financial Officer in 2006.

In addition to his Finance role, Simon is also responsible for the firm’s Operations, IT, Compliance and HR functions. This wider brief also includes business planning, identifying, negotiating and implementing acquisitions as well as maintaining senior relationships with banks, regulators, analysts/brokers, private equity providers and potential investors.
