As their wealth increases, many clients make increasing commitments to a programme of charitable giving, increasingly referred to as philanthropy.  We find that they wish to do this in a businesslike and efficient way, ensuring that the best tax treatment is used to maximise the value of their donations. 

We advise on the best way to channel both large and small donations to chosen charitable causes, including by use of organisations such as the Charitable Aid Foundation or via the formation of a family's own charitable foundation.  This can have the added advantage of drawing in the next generation to an appreciation of the many considerations involved in the proper stewardship of family funds.
